Top 10 Tips @ Work
Here are the top 10 tips which are simple to implement and are effective.
- Turn off your computer and monitor (2 power buttoms!) at the end of each day.
- Ensure your printer preferences on your default printer are set to 2-sided printing.
- Whenever you photocopy make sure the photocpier is set to 2 sided mode.
- Avoid unneccessary printing - especially emails or documents which can be easily read on screen.
- Before throwing anything in the bin - think about whether it could be recycled or reused.
- Place a cardboard box next to your work station bin to separate all of you paper waste for recycling.
- Ride a bike, catch public transport to work or car pool (even one day per week makes a difference!).
- Have at least one dairy and meat free day per week.
- Use your green bag for shopping
- Use the hand dryer to dry your hands rather than paper hand towel.
